We are pleased to announce that the EKNGB has been invited by the chair Dr Alex Channon and the board of the Martial Arts Studies Association to attend their International Conference between 22nd – 24th July 2026 at Brighton University, Brighton, England.

The EKNGB have also been invited to take part in a roundtable discussion at the conference regarding how academic research can support policy, development, safeguarding and other types of leadership roles in the field of martial arts. Building connections for collaborative projects.

The EKNGB will be representing Karate at this conference and feel this is a very important part of being part of the conversation with other martial arts in research and development.
