“Struggle is the foundation of success. If you give up, you’ll never know what was possible. With a strong and driven mindset, anything is within reach.”

Karate has been more than a passion for me – it’s a way of life. I’ve dedicated nearly my entire life to this art, and while I’ve enjoyed competitive success over the years, my true inspiration comes from teaching. Guiding students of all ages to become better versions of themselves – watching them grow in skill, confidence, and character – has always been at the heart of my journey.

Karate instills powerful values: discipline, respect, perseverance, and commitment. These principles have shaped my life and continue to drive my mission to pass them on to others. In my role as a Director on the Board of the English Karate National Governing Body (EKNGB), I’m proud to support and promote these core values across the wider Karate community in England.

At the EKNGB, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence, inclusion, and integrity in everything we do – from grassroots development to elite performance. We work to support clubs, instructors, and athletes at all levels, creating opportunities for lifelong involvement in Karate.

My passion for this art is unwavering. I bring that same energy, experience, and dedication into my work with the EKNGB – helping to shape the future of Karate in England and beyond.

I’m proud to be part of this new chapter and excited for what lies ahead.
