The first in our EKNGB series of Traditional Karate Courses
With thanks to Shihan Mark Adams who is a highly respected traditional karate instructor and senior figure within the Yamaguchi Goju-Kai Karate-Do organisation in England. He holds the rank of 7th Dan and the title of Shihan, recognising his decades of dedication to the teaching and development of traditional Goju-Ryu karate.
Based in Grays, Essex, Shihan Adams serves as Head Instructor for Yamaguchi Goju-Kai England and has helped develop karate clubs and students across the UK through regular classes, seminars, gradings, and regional training events. He is also recognised within the European Goju-Kai Shihankai as England’s State Representative.
Known for his strong emphasis on traditional values, discipline, technical precision, and practical application, Shihan Adams has spent many years promoting authentic Japanese karate-do while mentoring the next generation of instructors and black belts throughout England and Europe.
