The EKNGB Board would like to say well done to all English Associations that won medals, participated and supported the WKF British Karate Federation International Open at Ponds Forge International Arena this weekend.

EKNGB England Associations and their athletes won 75 Gold, 74 Silver and 112 Bronze.

A fantastic result for all Associations and Coaches. Well done!

A special mention to two EKNGB associations that finished in the top three associations at the championships.

Yanagi Kai (2nd) and Musuko Karate Academy (3rd) from 76 Associations from 11 countries.

Also, thank you to the EKNGB referees that represented England at this Championships and EKNGB Chief Referee Peter Bibby.

Thank you also to all the volunteers and medics from the EKNGB and Championship Organiser of the BKF Championship, Raj Bhardwaj.
