EKNGB support from Active Partnerships for EKNGB Karate Clubs welfare officers and Instructors for Sport and Physical Activity Welfare

The network from active partnerships runs to help clubs with free professional support for clubs to assist in compliance and best practice.

Please go to activepartnerships.org to find out about support in your area.

This sports network officer network supports club welfare officers to create safe and inclusive environments for children, young people and adults.

This is on top of the EKNGB National portal, Sport:80 for assisting all our member clubs in governance. This free service for our members allows for additional support for NGB’s like EKNGB.

You can find a national network of workshops for your club instructors CPD.

Workshops include;

  • Notice Early, Act Early
  • Developing a Listening Culture
  • Neurodiversity in Sport
  • Be an Active Bystander

Go to www.activepartnerships.org/events to find out more and book your place on a workshop.

These workshops are online and also face to face.

We encourage all EKNGB clubs to book onto courses and further your knowledge and CPD to move Karate and EKNGB in line with all other Sport England NGB’s.

Getting on these workshops and developing your knowledge will mean all EKNGB clubs are preparing for gaining Sport England recognition.

Please let us know the workshops you are doing and the continued professional development (CPD) you are gaining. This can all be added to your Sport:80 account as an association and club in due course.
