EKNGB National Training, Cadets, Juniors , U21 & Senior Kumite A Squad completed an exciting two hours of tough technical training.
What a great show of talent and hard work in England! Thank you to the coaches Sensei Paul Harris and Sensei Jerome Kumedzina.
Our Kata and Para training was led by Interim National Head Coach Sensei Aimee Sell and National Head Para Coach Luke Easton. Again, all cadet, junior U21 and Senior completed some great training over the course of the day.
As we come to the beginning of the Summer, athletes preparation and training will become more important for the current National A Squad. Also, to anyone hoping to make a National Trial and gain a place on the National A Squad through their regions.
We have three major championships on the horizon. WKF Senior European Championships, World U21 Championships and the Commonwealth Karate Games, where the best of the best in Karate will compete for these major titles. The only way to compete at any major championships in WKF is through the National programme. So do not lose anytime and start your pathway today. Speak to you Association coaches and then get to your next EKNGB regional squad session.
Thank you also to our partner and National training facility, English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.
