The EKNGB and our President Dale Gamble will be attending Rise North East Sport Welfare Event at St James Park today.

We look forward to a great event and another step in the right direction for Karate’s WKF NGB as we head into the Summer of 2026.

‘After the success of last years’ first ever North East Sport Welfare event, we’re so excited to announce that we’ll be back at St James’ Park on Saturday 6th June for our second regional event! 

Last year we were thrilled to be joined by over 100 sport volunteers from across 21 different sports and it was absolutely fantastic to see so many passionate volunteers from the North East learning, sharing ideas and connecting. 

This year we’ll be joined by a new line up of inspirational key-note speakers and expert workshop deliverers to help increase your knowledge in a range of sport welfare topics.’
